We have new forums!

We are moving because of our recent string of hacks and other unfortunate events that may be tied to compromised ads on these forums. We have full control over the new forums and there are no ads.

Everyone should register at the new forums as soon as possible. As of now, all business will be conducted there, and no new information should be posted on these forums (A link will remain in the new forums---called 'Archives'---in case you want to read this one. Since it's a free forum, we don't expect it to go away.)

I have a checklist of things that you must do:

(1) Before you do anything, change your password on these old forums. Since most of you will never post here again, feel free to make it something totally random and crazy.
(2) When you register for the new forums, make sure your new password is different than any current passwords, including your current forum and WoW passwords.
(3) Make sure you register with a name that people know you by. Your character name is preferred, but abbreviations, nicknames, and old character names are fine, as long as no one in the guild will have trouble identifying you by that name. There are certain sections of the forum that you need to be validated in order to see, and no one wants to try and puzzle out if muchogracias1977 is a member of the guild or not.

I will put up a post on the new forums also stating these rules. Everyone must post there saying that they have carried out this checklist!

Other notes:

The board's default setting is terrible. We're trying to change this. In the meantime, you can customize the board when you are logged in by picking a skin from the User Control Panel > Board Preferences.

Avatar and sig limitations have been upped a bit from this forum. Don't abuse this privilege. If you have a massive browser stretching image or a sig that is far longer than the majority of your posts, it will be deleted.

If you are having issues, do not have access to a section that you should, or find any bugs, feel free to report them to any administrator (bugs should probably go to Casperne).

Last but certainly not least, make sure you thank Casperne for all her hard work in setting the new forum up, and Averly for paying for it!

Actually, let's just have it be lexington-guild.com. The forum will remain where it is, but eventually we'll have more than a forum. :) Please spread the word as such.
