there is no reason a pally can't do it

From the discussions I've heard, it sounds like the only difficult healer configuration is bringing two single-target healers. Having at least one group healer makes things smoother. If this is the case, Honeycakes, you're just fine, as long as you partner up with a group healer. (disclaimer: I don't know anything about healing.)

Let me clear up some confusion about bear runs. First, they are not some sort of official guild activity. Anyone can run ZA with whatever group they want to get together on any timescale they choose. For the present time, I am organizing bear runs every time ZA resets. I do mostly try to take the same group every time, but I really don't have "excluded" classes or whatever. I took Saedi's holy pally last night. Currently I am planning to get the last 3-4 people who have done a bunch of runs their mounts. Then it's someone else's turn to organize. That person could be you!

As long as we aren't running after the 25 man, I'm willing to go back again. I'm in need of the 3rd chest physical dps ring, and I've taken enough of a break from the initial wave of bear madness.

In case it hasn't been clear in the past, I am interested in bear runs, as well as Hex. The haste cloak would be helpful. I wouldn't mind a bear eventually. I still have use for badges. I don't get invited often, and since Saedi's alt got an invite over the weekend before I was asked to go, it seems like I should again make it clear that nothing has changed and I'm still interested. I'm also not available to go on weekdays after raids, so if I could at least go on weekend and before-raid runs, I'd be as happy as...I don't know...Solsiva in Lexchat.

To reiterate, I am willing to help anyone who needs me on their bear run, if a credible group for it can be put together (i.e. not a bunch of t4 geared alts of people who have never been there, as an example). It's especially helpful to tell me ahead of time when you're planning a run if you don't think I will be on KT of my own volition when invites start going out. What I would really like to see from this guild is sort of like the boss kill shots on Juggernaut's website: pretty much the entire raid group on bears. I think it would be neat. :D

Hi Casp-- Saedi was just already in our group that I turned into the bear run. I know you've done several runs and are more than capable of doing more.

Casperne- 07-29-2008

I know you've done several runs and are more than capable of doing more. I know this, it looks as if you know this, but I wanted to make sure others that do invites do too.

Let's do one tonight before raid! Be online at 5:00 if you want to go.

Talliara- 08-04-2008

Several people have said they can not do bear runs after raids, and several others have said the same for before raids. ZA resets on weekends quite frequently and we never have anyone on who wants to go, or we don't have enough people on. If you want to do a bear run, and can't do it on days before or after raids, post it in this thread and try to get people to get on for a weekend run.

I think the major issue is that bear runs are going unscheduled a lot. We get 30+ online for raids, because everyone knows where they are, but outside of raid times on weekdays there's generally about 10 people online, and on the weekends generally around 15. Trying to get the right 10 people who are online and not busy to do a bear run is a pretty tall order. So I'm going to be posting times here to get them going, and I encourage others to do the same. Starting with tonight at 5:00 :D. Now you all know when it's happening, so if you want a bear, be online, be prepared, don't be busy.

Monday at 5pm: No non-warrior tank online. Will try again after raid. ZA resets tomorrow morning anyway. I can't say if I'll be on to organize a tuesday or wednesday 5pm raid.

Contrail- 08-05-2008

Monday after raid: Successful bear, grats Neli! Next raid: Tuesday, 5:30pm. Be online by 5:15 if you want to come.

Casperne- 08-05-2008

I will be there.
