What Offspec Means
A quick note to clarify what offspec means for the purposes of bidding on gear with DKP. Offspec items are in a different portion of the "trinity" for your class. So, if you're a healer then dps or tank gear is offspec. Only hybrid classes have offspec items. For any class, an item that is in your aspect of the trinity, but would be used for a different purpose (different spec, PvP, etc) is not offspec. The rules are this way to prevent abuse of the system. It prevents arguments on whether an item is "really" offspec, or situationally useful, or whatever. Note that you can do a "low bid" on an offspec item just as you can for a main spec item, if you think that someone else would find a particular offspec item more useful than you.
