Minotaurcd - Holy Pally
Hey guys, I've heard mixed info about whether you still have slots open for a healer type or whether one might be coming open soon. I have T6 or comparable gear. 6) List of any serious alts you have (A serious alt is a potential raiding alt): None. 7) What are your usual playing hours? Are there days/times when you are consistently unavailable? What time zone are you in?: I'm avail usually starting at 6-6:30PM weekdays, afternoons on weekends. I can run til about midnight. I'm central time (same as server). 8.) List the last two raiding guilds you were in, with an explanation of how and why you joined and left those guilds. In particular, why do you want to leave your current guild? 1. Maelstrom - Joined at the recommendation of several people I played with. Will discuss departure in private or in-game chat, if needed (don't want to bring drama to your forums). 2. Malicious - I joined because the guild I was in prior (Judgment) basically started unravelling and Malicious had a rep for strong progression. I left because the raiding atmosphere was too packed with personal dramas and not enough teamwork. 9) What you do think your strengths and weaknesses in raiding are? What aspects of your character are you actively improving? Please link a WWS parse for one of your raids, if you have one. Strengths: Dedication to the guild and its mission, focus, determination and adaptability. I have excellent mana regen and strong heals, which give me great endurance. I have played this toon for approx. 4 years and raided all pre-BC content with it. This long-term experience has allowed me to fine-tune my timings, techniques, etc. for maximum effect. Weaknesses:Probably my #1 "weakness" is that I'm a sucker for the "guild-as-a-whole" concept. Because of this, I pass on gear far too often since it appears to be a bigger upgrade for others. As a result, my gear is a bit behind what you might expect. That being said, my gear has always been at a slight to moderate disadvantage for the content I'm raiding. This forces me to work harder and be more creative in my healing techniques. The result is more versatility, experience and on-the-fly adaptability. I can still near the top of the charts in healing done, dispells and low overhealing. WWS: Unfortunately I did not keep personal reports while in Mael because the guild logged and posted them anyways. All my Malicious reports have expired and long dropped from my WWS account. 10) What is your raiding experience, both pre- and post-BC? Pre-BC: - Everything (with the exception of a random boss here and there). Post-BC: - Full clears of Kara, Gruul, Mag, ZA, SSC, TK, MH. I have done BT up through Illidari Council. I have not yet done Illidan. 11) Why do you want to join Lexington in particular? I have run with several members from Lex in the past (mostly on the "fun" raids) and have found them to have a good, fun attitude while still having the focus necessary for successful raiding. Lexington has a history of strong progression and a reputation for a good environment/atmosphere. 12) Is there anything special about your character that we should know that would be useful for raiding? Not too much to say, other than to note that I am an MP5 holy pally (as opposed to crit holy). With the nerf of Illumination, I have found that the amount of spell crit needed to be truly viable as a crit holy paladin is nearly impossible to achieve without nerfing other stats significantly. Because of my spec specialization, you might notice gear that is not the la-*test*-('") and grea-*test*-('") pally drop. That is often because I have found that piece of gear to provide better overall advantage to me than later drops. Also, as a general rule, I do not miss any raids. My track record in Maelstrom, as I recall, was one absence in my entire time there. Similar for Malicious. 13) Tell us a bit about yourself. How old are you? Do you work or go to school? How long have you played WoW? Add anything else you feel is relevant. Not to bore you too much.....I'm 29 and a worker bee :P. I have been playing WoW for nearly 4 years now, originally on Kael'thas realm, before about a year ago to Kul Tiras. 14) Please list any members of the guild you know that could vouch for you, and how you know them. Onda - Have run with him quite a number of times. Noobler, Nanika and several others.....have run with them before (mostly the "fun raids"). Others, who should not be offended that I have forgotten your names rights now. I'm tired, a tad drunk and claim senility due to old age. :P
