Loadeddice Feral Druid
1) Character name: Loadeddice 2) Class/Spec: Druid/Feral 3) Race: Night Elf 4) Current server (transfers are welcome, but let's talk first): Kul Tiras 5) http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Kul+Tiras&n=Loadeddice 6) List of any serious alts you have (A serious alt is a potential raiding alt): -70 Fire/icy veins gnome mage with 5/5 tier 4 and tier 5 off-set pieces (Weedy). Weedy is my pride and joy of alts - I work on him almost as much as I work on my feral druid nowadays. He is specced for farming at the moment (pyroblast + blast wave) but I have the gear and spec knowledge available to respec for raid dps and utility 7) What are your usual playing hours? -I play as much as possible - I'm sure many of you have seen me online enough to know that I do not flake out on certain days. I'm available whenever you need me 8.) List the last two raiding guilds you were in, with an explanation of how and why you joined and left those guilds. In particular, why do you want to leave your current guild? I have been a member of <The Departed> for over a year now. I worked my way up to the position of main offtank and main tank at times from the beginning of t4 content right up to midway through Sunwell Plateau. However, I am at a point in my guild now where I am not getting the raid activity I've worked hard to enjoy because I've been replaced by a transfer feral druid with slightly better gear (2 nonset pieces from Sunwell). In a guild with 2 protection paladins, 4 protection warriors and 2 feral druids there simply isn't room for another tank in the content we are in. I feel this is a slap in the face for all the effort and time I've spent growing, gearing and getting to know the people i raid with. I heard about lexington's lack of feral druids and this was the first place I thought to apply to since I already know many of your members. 9) What you do think your strengths and weaknesses in raiding are? What aspects of your character are you actively improving? Please link a WWS parse for one of your raids, if you have one. -Maintain constant threat of 1500 TPS minimum in 5 mans and 2000+ in a raid -Uncrittable -Capped armor (35880) -Stacked HP and dodge I always come prepared to raids with the bleeding-edge consumables including scrolls and I have adjusted my professions for raiding (LW for drums, enchanting for ring enchants). My tanking and dps sets are equally good: 6/8 tier 6 with full BT/Hyjal nonset for tanking and full tier 6 nonset dps gear (including the cursed vision of sargeras). I also gem and enchant my gear with the best (epic gems/nethercleft/nethercobra) -I try to be innovative in my strategies for certain boss fights and enjoy learning nuances of fights that arent mentioned on bosskillers/EJ etc. I love unorthodox boss kill methods :D -I have an extremely stable internet connection and I frequently play with a latency of less than 50 microseconds. I will never lag. -I have extensive raid leading experience from gruul/mag/tk/ssc PUGS and I can help orientate people unfamiliar with particular fights. -I have knowledge of every class (ESPECIALLY the feral druid) in the game and their mechanics - very fluent in WoW language (leetspeek haha) - I am very aware of my surroundings in fights and can *gasp* move out of stuff that can kill me! haha - I have many rare leatherworking recipes RESISTS Fire: 365 Shadow: 365 Nature: 365 Frost: 365 Arcane: 365 10) What is your raiding experience, both pre- and post-BC? BC: everything up to Mu'ru in Sunwell Plateau Pre-bc: raided on my mage in zul gurub, mc and ubrs 11) Why do you want to join Lexington in particular? Best guild on the server and a good change of pace from the people ive been raiding with. I hear you guys dont have a feral druid :D 12) Is there anything special about your character that we should know that would be useful for raiding? I have full pvp sets for feral and restoration as well as excellent raiding resto gear (t6 offset quality) I bring a variety of different leatherworking drums to every raid (i.e. haste/speed) *loadeddice videos* I've made a couple fun pvp and gameplay video samplers. Although they are pretty old and amateur I think they showcase my skills rather nicely :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrRSmbRLzyk (me vs illidans flames) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4MKPS_2fqk (PvP video) 13) Tell us a bit about yourself. How old are you? Do you work or go to school? How long have you played WoW? Add anything else you feel is relevant. 19 years old. Graduated from highschool 2 years ago - currently working as an apprentice carpenter for ATCO structures during the day 14) Please list any members of the guild you know that could vouch for you, and how you know them. Anyone from departed. I would like to thank each of you for the opportunity to apply and, if accepted, promise not to disappoint

I hear you guys dont have a feral druid I don't know where you heard this, but we do in fact have a feral druid. In a guild with 2 protection paladins, 4 protection warriors and 2 feral druids there simply isnt room for another tank in the content we are in. While it's up to the current officers to decide our tank need, we do have a good stable of 3 prot warriors, 1.5 prot paladins, as well as our own feral who's working back in. Like your situation it's hard to ask someone who's been there through the bad times to take a back seat. Also something to look at and consider is the potential drama that could ensue from recruiting a well-known and very well-geared tank from the #1 guild on the server. I'm not saying it would happen, but it's possible. Just something to think about. How happy are you going to be going back to Brutallus and relearning him as well as the next two bosses? I think the couple of times we've recruited someone ahead of us, they've quickly burned out. However I'm not against recruiting such a good tank. He's not going to be taking gear from the tanks that need it still from the farm encounters. Someone with experience of what lies ahead is of benefit to us. And another body can lessen the load our other tanks have if they need a night off or don't feel comfortable in a fight.

-I have knowledge of every class (ESPECIALLY the feral druid) in the game and their mechanics - very fluent in WoW language (leetspeek haha) Okay, you say something like this, so you HAVE to take a quiz. Why is the free heal gained from use of the Inner Focus talent so useful to a holy priest besides the obvious benefits described in the ability text itself? And NO googling or EJing. :D

Well considering that I haven't even been in for a Brut kill yet (just spent many nights wiping and learning him) I'd say relearning isnt that big a deal. Like I said, I've been replaced in my current guild :( You won't hear of any drama - im sure departed wont care if I leave. :'( I'm not trying to force current raiders out of their nightly spots - I try to be very approachable about stuff like this and have no problem stepping out for people who need gear (I have completed black temple and hyjal itemization)

At the rist of derailing this thread... Come up with a harder question than that one casp... even i know that one... Grats to you for knowing already. :D I thought it was a good one because it is one of the finer points to being a priest; it's not easy to control and it's not as obvious as "omg a free heal."

Use it in a duel when you're oom too! ...what's google?

(I love it when I accidentally hit inner focus before a raid has even started, so after I've driven everyone crazy with the obnoxious sound, I use it for fort. This isn't a hint, btw. Just an anecdote.)
